Escuelita Alegría understands your child’s cognitive brain development. Neural linguistic patterns and cognitive pathways develop rapidly in young children who possess unique abilities to learn in ways adults cannot. However, if these pathways are not utilized and developed early on, the opportunity diminishes significantly. This explains why learning a language as an adult—any age over about 10 years old—can be so challenging; it engages different brain mechanisms altogether.
Through the research-based, nationally recognized “Experience” curriculum which we teach in Spanish, children are consistently exposed to Spanish, allowing them to naturally ‘acquire’ and absorb the language without relying on translation. The new language emerges when the child is ready, mirroring the process of learning their first language.
Our classes are specially crafted for young children, encouraging their natural curiosity and desire to play. Not only do we teach using our research-based curriculum, we also enrich the learning experience with songs, games, art, reading, and movement activities.

Looking for Summer Care?
We offer short-term enrollment on a weekly basis for children ages 2-8 needing care over the summer. Contact us to create a customized care plan for your family! Cost is $225 for a five-day week and $25/week extra care hour (8:30-3:30, early drop off and late pick up options available).
