We’re proud to be located in the heart of Downtown Columbia, sharing space within the Child Development Center at First Presbyterian Church on Hitt Street. Our bright and welcoming facility includes four thoughtfully designed classrooms and a shaded, secure playground where children can play and explore. While we lease space from First Presbyterian Church, Escuelita Alegría is not affiliated with any religious organization.

Downtown Columbia has its parking challenges – but not for you!  We offer a dedicated, well-lit parking lot exclusively for drop-off and pick-up, so you’ll always have a safe and convenient place to park.

The safety of our children is our highest priority. Our main entrance is secured around the clock, with families using an intercom system to gain entry. In addition, our facility is monitored by both interior and exterior security cameras to provide peace of mind for families and staff.
